Founder of Ervis Foundation
Haaziq is 16 years old and is currently studying in Grade X in The Hotchkiss School in Connecticut in the United States. He is passionate about the oceans and tackling the plastic problem afflicting oceans and marine life. He created a ship called Ervis, which is a smart ship that can clean the oceans. He established the Ervis Foundation, wherein he is working with the youth of today to bring a generational change in the way they interact with plastic. The foundation focuses on educational initiatives such as educational workshops on the perils of plastic, and digital platforms which offers an alternative to plastic. The foundation also works with many other movements to bring a change. He regularly speak at various forums, highlighting the perils of the plastic issue plaguing the generation, and my solutions for it. He is also passionate about math, science, computers and arts, and love learning how the world works and asking questions, whether big or small.
